Ultra4 Tear Down in Tennessee – Paul Wolff Sweeps the Weekend
It was a gritty, high-stakes weekend at the Ultra4 Tear Down in Tennessee, where heat, humidity, and scattered storms set the stage for a true battle with the terrain. The slick rocks and ever-changing conditions made for brutal technical sections—but Paul Wolff was unstoppable.
Wolff came out swinging with a pole position start in all 3 of his classes, and he didn’t let up from there. He went on to win all three of his classes, taking dominant wins in UTV Pro Mod, UTV Open, and the premier 4400 class. There was some drama at the end of Paul’s run in the Open UTV class. He emerged from the woods with a broken tie-rod end which made his front wheels pigeon toed and caused the vehicle to basically have no steering. So, it was a slow run to the finish as he had to back up multiple times and limp it to the finish. Luckily he had amassed such a lead, it didn’t matter.
The weekend saw multiple late day storms across the weekend which lead to traction challenges that tested even the most seasoned drivers, but Wolff’s consistency and precision driving proved unmatched. Fans witnessed true mastery on the rocks—and a clean sweep that won’t soon be forgotten.
Paul Wolff’s performance? All gas, no mistakes.
Another dominating performace came from Cory Day in the 4600 class. In his Jeep Cherokee he completed the sweep of the East Coast rounds.
